FalconX, a leading institutional digital asset prime brokerage, has agreed to acquire 21shares, the provider of the world’s largest suite of cryptocurrency exchange-traded products. The deal marks a strategic move to bridge listed markets and digital assets, expanding FalconX's footprint across the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

21shares, founded in 2018, manages over $11 billion in assets across 55 listed products. Its acquisition combines FalconX's institutional infrastructure with 21shares' product development expertise, accelerating the creation of regulated investment vehicles for growing institutional and retail demand.

The transaction underscores the maturation of crypto markets as traditional finance and digital assets converge. FalconX, which has facilitated $2 trillion in trading volume, gains a formidable ETP platform, while 21shares benefits from enhanced distribution capabilities.
